Answer the dispatch line, prove the delivery, get paid faster.
IG Digital Lab, Sacramento builds small carriers and couriers the missing layer between the driver's phone and the office: a line that answers while the dispatcher sleeps, timestamped photo capture for bills of lading and delivery proof, and status updates that reach the customer before they call.
A three-to-eight-truck operation runs on one person.
Booking loads, negotiating rates, calling drivers, chasing paperwork and invoicing. Everything below is what happens when that person sleeps.
Check calls are a manual loop
Brokers want position updates. Dispatch calls the driver, who is driving. Two hours and six calls later, everyone knows something the phone in the truck already knew.
Paperwork lives in a chat thread
Signed bills of lading and delivery photos arrive as messages, in two languages, out of order. A detention claim without timestamps is not a claim.
Nobody told the customer
The complaint that ends up in reviews is rarely “you were late.” It is “you were late and nobody warned me.”
The phone is unanswered when it matters
A broker with a load, a shipper with a problem and a driver with a breakdown all call the same number, often outside office hours.
The company exists only on a load board
Direct shippers pay better than brokers and check whether a carrier is real: authority, insurance, a phone that answers, a page that exists.
What we build for a carrier or courier
Take the pieces that match your bottleneck. We do not install all of it at once.
AI for calls
One number answered around the clock in English or Russian. Gives load status from what the system already knows and captures a quote request.
Load status, day or nightA driver app or installable web app
Four buttons: arrived, loaded, delivered, upload document. Photos are stamped with time and location and queue when there is no signal.
Geotagged photo captureWorkflow automation
A photo lands in the right load folder, the invoice packet assembles itself, and the shipper gets an ETA text instead of a phone call after it is late.
Invoice packets assemble themselvesCustom software
A dispatch board of your own when the spreadsheet stops scaling, or the integration between what you dispatch in and what you invoice from.
A dispatch board of your ownWebsite and AI search visibility
A page a direct shipper can verify you on: authority numbers, equipment, lanes, service area, and contact that answers.
Verified by direct shippersWe are not a TMS and not an ELD, and we stay away from hours-of-service and safety compliance. We build around the tools you already run and integrate where an interface exists.
How the work goes
Free audit first. Then a scope, a fixed number, and one process built end to end.
Free audit
We follow one load from the moment it is booked to the moment it is paid, and mark every point where a person retypes or re-asks something.
Proposal
A scope, a number from the bands below, and what we would build first. Usually the cheapest fix comes first.
Implementation
Built and tested with one truck before it touches the whole fleet, so a driver's day is never the test environment.
Support
Monitoring, changes, and a monthly view of calls handled, documents captured on time and loads invoiced without chasing.
What it costs and how long it takes
Nothing is quoted before the free audit, and pricing starts at $2,500. Timeline: 3 to 6 weeks for a standard build, 6 to 12 with integrations.
The dispatch line, or driver capture feeding invoicing, built end to end.
- Dispatch phone line, answered around the clock
- Or driver photo capture feeding invoicing
- Typically 3 to 6 weeks from kickoff
Several systems joined, or a driver app connected to your back office.
- Driver app plus dispatch line plus invoicing
- Back-office integration where an API exists
- 6 to 12 weeks, tested with one truck first
Bespoke software, built from scratch.
- Multi-system builds and custom integrations
- Full DevOps and a security review
- Shipped in slices, with support after launch
3 to 6 weeks for a standard build, 6 to 12 weeks with integrations, 8 to 16 for a full portal. Full price list, including hosting, is on our pricing page.
Who this is not for
We turn away work that will not pay off. Here is who that usually is.
- Single-truck owner-operators. Your phone is already the system, and the payback is not there yet.
- Fleets already running a full TMS with a working driver app. Adding a second workflow will make things worse, not better.
- Anyone wanting help with DOT compliance, safety scores or hours-of-service. That is a different profession and we do not pretend otherwise.
- Anyone expecting a promised volume of loads or a guaranteed rate per mile. We do not sell freight and cannot promise either.
Common questions
Answers to what carriers ask before signing on.
Do drivers have to learn new software?
Practically none. The driver screen is four large buttons and a camera, in English or Russian, usable with gloves on in bad light. If a driver refuses it entirely, dispatch can still enter the status by hand and the rest of the chain works the same way.
Will this replace our TMS or ELD?
No. IG Digital Lab does not build electronic logging or safety compliance and does not replace a dispatch platform you already pay for. We connect to it where it allows connections, and capture what we can from the driver's phone where it does not.
What happens where there is no cell service?
The driver app stores the photo, timestamp and location on the phone and uploads everything when signal returns. Nothing is lost in a canyon or a warehouse basement, and the timestamp reflects when the event happened rather than when it uploaded.
How does this get a carrier paid faster?
The invoice packet is assembled from documents captured at delivery instead of reconstructed from a chat thread days later. Fewer missing pages means fewer rejected submissions to a factoring company, and detention claims arrive with the timestamps that support them.
Can the phone line answer in Russian?
Yes. IG Digital Lab works in English and Russian, and the agent handles either language, switching to whichever the caller opens with. Drivers, brokers and shippers each get the language they are comfortable in on the same number.
We run three trucks. Is that too small for this?
Three to eight trucks is exactly where the dispatcher becomes the bottleneck and there is still no budget for a dispatch hire. Start with one process, usually the phone or document capture, and add more only once the first one pays for itself.
Hear it for yourself. Then decide.
