AI agents
AI agents that finish the task and ask before anything risky
An AI agent reads what comes in, looks things up in your systems and does the next step: files the document, updates the record, drafts the reply. We build agents for one task at a time, with a person approving anything that spends money or deletes data, and sending anything addressed to a customer.

An agent uses your tools to finish a task
An AI agent is software that uses a language model to decide what to do next and has access to tools: your inbox, CRM, accounting system, calendar or database. Given an invoice, it can read the vendor and amount, find the matching purchase order and draft the bill. Given a support email, it can look up the order and draft a reply with the tracking number.
A fixed workflow is the better choice when every case follows the same steps. An agent earns its cost when the input varies: different document layouts, free-text emails, requests that need a lookup before anyone knows what to do with them.
What goes in, what the agent does, where the result lands
Comes in
The agent
Reads, checks, prepares
- Reads the input and pulls out the fields
- Looks up records in your systems
- Prepares the action and its reason
- Waits for approval where the rules say so
- Writes every step to a log
Lands in
Approval gates are switched on at launch. A low-risk internal step runs on its own only after the action log shows the agent gets it right; payments, deletions and anything sent to a customer stay with a person.
Six agents a business can start with
Inbox triage
Sorts a shared inbox by request type, pulls the order or account number, routes each message to the right person with a draft reply.
Document intake
Reads invoices, applications and forms, fills the fields in your system and flags the ones it is unsure about.
Record keeping
Keeps the CRM current from email threads and call summaries, so nobody retypes notes at the end of the day.
Research and lookup
Checks a vendor portal, a public registry or a supplier site in a browser and returns the answer with the page it came from.
Daily and weekly reports
Pulls numbers from two or three systems on a schedule and writes the report in your format before the morning meeting.
Voice agents
Answers the phone, books the appointment and hands the call to staff on request. See AI for calls and chat.
From shadow mode to fewer approvals, in four steps
- Week 1
Pick one task
One task with clear inputs and a clear done. We collect 20 to 50 real past cases to test against.
- Weeks 2 to 3
Shadow mode
The agent prepares every case while your team keeps doing the work. We compare its drafts with what people did.
- Weeks 3 to 4
Approve mode
The agent does the work and a person clicks approve. Every decision lands in the log with its reason.
- After launch
Fewer approvals
Steps the log shows the agent handles well run on their own. Payments, deletions and anything sent to a customer keep a person.
Agents for each team
Each department page lists the agents we build for that team, what they connect to and what they never do on their own. The full list of tasks is on What AI agents do.
- AI agents for finance Invoices, reconciliation and month-end close
- AI agents for HR Onboarding, policy answers and paperwork
- AI agents for legal Contract review, intake and deadlines
- AI agents for operations Scheduling, vendors and daily reports
- AI agents for procurement Quotes, purchase orders, invoice matching
- AI customer support Chat that answers and hands off to a person
One agent, one task, one published band
One workflow running end to end, or one internal tool.
Several systems made to work as one: integrations, roles, reports.
Custom software built from scratch, over a longer schedule.
A single agent on one task, with its approval steps and log, usually lands in one process. An agent that works across several systems or serves several teams is connected systems. Model usage is billed by the provider to your account, and we estimate it from your volume in the written review.
Care $300 to $500 a month. Active $750 to $1,500 a month. AI model usage, GPU time and hardware are paid to the provider, on accounts in your name.
Questions about AI agents
How is an AI agent different from a chatbot?
Some assistants only answer questions in a chat window. An agent also has access to tools and changes something: it updates a record, files a document, drafts a bill. Access to tools is why every agent we build has approval steps and a log.
What happens when the agent gets something wrong?
It will, sometimes, so the design assumes it. The agent marks cases it is unsure about and sends them to a person. Anything that spends money or deletes data waits for approval, and anything addressed to a customer is sent by a person. Every action is logged with its input and reason, so a mistake can be traced and the rule fixed.
Which model runs the agent?
Usually Claude or Gemini, because they handle tool calls well; an open-weight model when the data must stay on your server. We test the model on your real past cases before launch and tell you which one the agent calls and what data it sees.
Can an agent work inside our existing software?
Yes, if the software has an API, and most CRMs, accounting and help-desk systems do. If it has none, the agent can work through a browser the way a person would, which is slower and needs more checks, so the written review says which route your system needs.
Do we need a developer on our side?
No. You need someone who knows the task and can review the agent's drafts in the first weeks. We set up the accounts in your company's name, build the agent, and support it month to month.
