The office side of the job, off your plate.
IG Digital Lab, Sacramento builds contractors the office side of the job: a request form that accepts photos from a homeowner's phone, a line that answers on the first hot week of summer, follow-up on quotes that went quiet, and field photos filed against the job instead of buried in a text thread.
The work in the field is not the problem. The office is.
It runs on whoever happens to be free, and in a small company that is the person currently in an attic.
The job goes to whoever picks up
A homeowner calls three contractors and stops when someone answers. Your phone rings while you are on a roof, so the estimate you never heard about goes to a competitor.
Quotes are sent and then abandoned
The most valuable list in a contracting business is the quotes sent three weeks ago that nobody answered. One structured follow-up is worth more than a month of advertising.
Field photos disappear into text threads
A change order or a warranty question needs a photo with a date and address attached, and it is somewhere in a thread of four hundred messages.
The first heat wave breaks the phone
HVAC demand multiplies call volume on exactly the days the crew is fully booked, and nobody hires for a single week. Whatever the phone drops then is gone.
The paperwork has rules that a hobby website ignores
California requires a licensed contractor's license number in advertising. A site put together by a relative usually omits it.
What we build for a contractor
Take the pieces that match your bottleneck. We do not install all of it at once.
Estimate intake that works from a phone
Address, problem, availability and three photos, submitted in under a minute from a driveway, landing in your calendar instead of a shared inbox.
Photo estimate requests, from a drivewayAI for calls
Answers when you cannot, checks the caller is inside your service area, sorts a maintenance call from a no-cooling emergency, and books the visit.
Sorts urgent from routine callsWorkflow automation
The follow-up sequence after a quote goes out, at intervals you choose, stopping instantly on a reply. Plus maintenance renewals and seasonal reminders.
Follows up on quiet bidsA field app for crews
Photos filed to the job with time and place, before-and-after pairs, and a note the office reads without calling the truck.
Field photos filed to the jobSEO and AI search visibility
The pages, license details and structured data that get you named for local repair searches and by AI assistants.
Named for local repair searchesWe do not replace ServiceTitan, Jobber or Housecall Pro, we do not do estimating or takeoff mathematics, and we do not draft your contracts. We build the intake, the follow-up and the field record around whatever you already use.
How the work goes
Free audit first. Then a scope, a fixed number, and one process built end to end.
Free audit
We track one job from first call to final invoice and mark where it waited on a person. The write-up is yours whatever you decide.
Proposal
Scope, one number from the bands below, and the build order, normally the phone or the follow-up first, since both pay back fastest.
Implementation
Configured, tested with one crew and a week of real calls, and signed off before it handles a customer unsupervised.
Support
Monitoring, seasonal adjustment before the peak, and a monthly count of calls answered, estimates requested and quotes revived.
What it costs and how long it takes
Nothing is priced before the free audit, and the entry point is $2,500. Build in the shoulder season, before your peak.

Bespoke software, built from scratch.
- Multi-system builds and custom integrations

- Shipped in slices, with support after launch
3 to 6 weeks for a standard build, 6 to 12 weeks with integrations, 8 to 16 for a full portal. Full price list, including hosting, is on our pricing page.
Who this is not for
We turn away work that will not pay off. Here is who that usually is.
- A one-person operation booked solid on referrals with no interest in growing. Nothing here beats a full calendar.
- Companies already on a full field service platform with dispatch and a working technician app.
- Anyone looking for estimating or takeoff software. Different category, and we do not build it.
- Anyone expecting a promised number of leads. We improve what happens to the calls you get; we will not put a lead count in writing.
Common questions
Answers to what contractors ask before signing on.
Does this replace ServiceTitan or Jobber?
No. If you already run one, IG Digital Lab builds around it and connects where it allows connections. Replacing a working field service platform is expensive and rarely justified: the gap is usually the unanswered phone and the quote nobody followed up.
Will the AI quote a price over the phone?
Only if you want it to, and normally you should not. It qualifies the job, confirms the service area, explains your diagnostic or trip fee and books the visit. Pricing a replacement sight-unseen is how contractors lose money, so a booked appointment is the default.
What happens with a real emergency call?
You write the rules and the agent follows them. A suspected gas leak is always told to hang up and call the gas utility. No heat in winter or no cooling in a heat wave can be flagged straight to your phone as an urgent booking instead of queued.
Can technicians use the field app on their own phones?
Yes. It installs on the Android or iPhone they already carry and can be limited to the job screen and camera, so nothing else about the phone is touched. Photos queue and upload when signal returns from a crawl space or basement.
When is the right time to build this?
The shoulder season, before the peak. Anything installed during the busiest weeks competes with production for attention and gets abandoned. March and October are the natural windows for a Sacramento HVAC company.
Will this help us get found for repair searches?
That is separate work with its own price and its own limits. IG Digital Lab fixes structure, listings, service pages and license details so search engines and AI assistants name you correctly, and reports movement monthly. Nobody can promise rankings, and we do not.
