We integrate AI into the processes a business already runs on, and build the workflow around it end to end — custom software and integrations, AI on calls and chat, phone-to-CRM automation, websites, servers, connected devices, and visibility in AI search. Operated by IGGO, LLC. **Website:** https://igdigi.com **Book a free automation audit:** https://cal.com/igdigitallab/30min **Phone:** +1 (916) 618-0502 **Address:** 3550 Watt Ave, Suite 408, Sacramento, CA 95821 ### What We Actually Do Most companies end up with AI somewhere on the side, and somebody has to remember to use it. We put it inside the process instead, and build the chain that runs on its own: the phones, the forms, the CRM, the calendar, and the software and servers underneath. There is no fixed package. We start from the process that is costing the business money, not from a product catalog. A typical engagement opens with a free automation audit that finds where people do work software could do. ### Services Eight services, in the order we list them everywhere. We build the systems a business runs on and put the AI inside them. Here is each of the eight in plain English: what it is, when you need it, what it costs. Call or text (916) 618-0502 Service 1 of 8 ### Custom software Custom software is an application built for how your business actually works, instead of bending your work to fit someone else's tool. We build internal tools, client portals, integrations between systems that do not talk, and private AI knowledge systems on your own infrastructure. **You need this when:** off-the-shelf software almost fits but not quite, and the gap gets filled by spreadsheets, copy-paste and one person who remembers the steps. **Price band:** $6,000 to $15,000 for an internal tool, integration set or document AI system. Full custom builds start at $15,000. Custom software and integrations Service 2 of 8 ### Websites and web apps A website that does a job: brings in inquiries, explains what you sell, loads fast on a phone, and stays yours. Web apps go further: booking, client portals, dashboards, e-commerce, anything your customers or staff log into. You own the code and the accounts. **You need this when:** your site is slow or dated, you cannot get changes made, or you need software your customers log into rather than a brochure. **Price band:** most marketing sites are $2,500 to $6,000. Web apps, portals and e-commerce usually run $6,000 to $15,000. Web design and web app development Service 3 of 8 ### Mobile app development Android apps, installable web apps (PWA) and cross-platform builds in Flutter or React Native that also run on iOS, wired into your own backend, APIs and integrations instead of shipped as a static shell. **You need this when:** customers or staff need to reach you from their phone without a browser tab, or a tablet or kiosk in the field needs an app connected to your real systems. **Price band:** $2,500 to $6,000 for a PWA or simple app. Connected cross-platform builds run $6,000 to $15,000. Mobile app development Service 4 of 8 ### AI for calls and chat AI that answers your phone and your website chat around the clock. It takes the call, asks the qualifying questions, books into your calendar, and writes the details into your CRM. Call (916) 618-0502 and you will hear one: our own main line is answered by an agent we built. **You need this when:** calls go to voicemail after hours, or your team is too busy answering the phone to do the work the phone brings in. **Price band:** $2,500 to $6,000 to build, integrate and launch one agent, then support from $300/mo. AI voice agents AI chat support Service 5 of 8 ### AI workflow automation Our house thesis, and the reason the other six exist: AI inside the process, not next to it. We join phone, forms, CRM, calendar, documents and billing into one chain that runs without anyone remembering to start it, with logging and human review where it matters. **You need this when:** the same information is typed into three systems by hand, or work sits waiting because nobody was told it arrived. **Price band:** one process end to end is $2,500 to $6,000. Several systems joined together is $6,000 to $15,000. Workflow and document automation Service 6 of 8 ### Servers and support Where your software actually lives, and who fixes it at 7am. We set up servers, deployments, backups and monitoring, then keep them running: patches, uptime alerts, small changes, and a number to call when something breaks. **You need this when:** nobody owns your infrastructure, or somebody does and it is one person's side job on top of their real one. **Price band:** hosting and small services from $50/mo. Ongoing support is $300 to $500/mo, or $750 to $1,500/mo with continuous work. Building out infrastructure with CI/CD is $6,000 to $15,000. Servers, DevOps and support Service 7 of 8 ### Devices and smart spaces The hardware side. Tablets, kiosks, displays and sensors set up, locked down and managed as a fleet, plus the automation that makes a room, shop or office respond on its own instead of waiting for a person to press something. **You need this when:** you have a check-in tablet, a menu screen or a fleet of devices that someone still updates by hand, one at a time. **Price band:** a managed device fleet or a smart space build is usually $6,000 to $15,000, with support from $300/mo. Devices and smart spaces Service 8 of 8 ### SEO and AEO Classic search optimization plus answer engine optimization: being found on Google, and being named when someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews for a business like yours. Technical fixes, structured data, content built to be quoted, and local presence. **You need this when:** you show up for your own company name and nothing else, or AI assistants recommend other firms in your city and never mention you. **Price band:** $2,500 to $6,000 to launch, then $300 to $500/mo ongoing. We aim for measurable movement and report it monthly. Nobody can promise rankings, and we do not. SEO and AI search visibility ### Not sure which one you need? Most people arrive with a symptom, not a service: missed calls, a site nobody can edit, the same data typed three times. That is what the free audit is for. We look at how work moves through your business, tell you where software should be doing it instead of a person, and put a number on it. Pricing starts from $2,500, exact figure after the audit. Full bands are on the pricing page. Working with us in person? Our office is in Arden-Arcade: web design, IT support, SEO and AI automation in Sacramento. ### Questions we get about working with us Who does the work, what happens to a project someone else started, and how far we travel. #### Do you do all of this in-house? Yes. IG Digital Lab designs, builds and runs these services with our own team in Sacramento, and we bring in specialist contractors when a project needs a specific skill. You get one point of contact and one team accountable for the result, not a chain of subcontracted vendors. #### Can you take over work another company started? Usually yes. IG Digital Lab regularly takes over half-finished websites, automations and servers from a previous developer or agency. We start by getting you access and ownership of the domain, code and accounts, document what actually exists, then fix or rebuild it. That process is website takeover. #### Do you work outside Sacramento? Yes. IG Digital Lab is based at 3550 Watt Ave, Suite 408 in Arden-Arcade, Sacramento, and we work on site across Sacramento, Carmichael, Citrus Heights, Rancho Cordova, Arden-Arcade, Roseville, Folsom, Elk Grove and Davis. Software, AI and SEO work is delivered remotely nationwide. We work in English and Russian. ### Where in your business do people do what software could do? Tell us what is slowing things down. The audit is free, and it ends with a plan you can act on with us or without us. No commitment. No sales pitch. Just the numbers. --- ## https://igdigi.com/services/custom-software Custom software ## Software built for the way your business already works We build the software a company runs on: internal tools, integrations between systems that do not talk, custom CRM and client portals, and private AI over your own documents. Fixed scope, one number, and the code is yours. Call or text (916) 618-0502 From $2,500 exact number after the free audit, not after the build 2 to 10 weeks typical delivery for a tool, an integration or a connected system You own it code, repository, servers and documentation, from the first commit ### When is custom software cheaper than another subscription? Custom software is cheaper than another subscription when you are paying per seat for features nobody uses, or when your team keeps a spreadsheet on the side because the tool does not fit. IG Digital Lab, a Sacramento software company, says buy off the shelf first, and build only the part that will not fit. A subscription is a rental. It is a good deal while the software does the job, and a bad one the moment your process has to bend around it. The honest way to decide is to look at the two lists below, not at the sales page of whichever tool you are being sold this quarter. #### Buy off the shelf when - A product already does about 90 percent of the job, and the missing 10 percent is not the part that makes you money. - The process is standard for everyone: accounting, payroll, email, file storage, e-signature. - The seat count is small and the price per seat is low. - You need it next month and can live with the defaults. #### Build custom when - The process is your advantage, and the tool forces your team to work someone else's way. - Per-seat pricing has grown past what the software actually returns. - Two systems you already pay for need to talk to each other and no connector exists. - Someone maintains a spreadsheet on the side because the software does not do the real job. - The data has to stay on your own servers, under your own control. Most of our work sits between those two lists. The accounting stays in QuickBooks, the CRM stays where your team already knows it, and we build the missing piece plus the wiring between them. That is usually far cheaper than replacing a platform, and it does not add another per-seat bill that grows every year. If a product on the market does the job, we will tell you to buy it and we will help you set it up. ### What we build Four kinds of project cover almost everything a small or mid-sized business asks us for. #### Internal tools that replace the spreadsheet The tracker your operations team rebuilt in Excel, turned into real software: users and permissions, validation, history of who changed what, and reporting on the numbers you actually run on. Job and project boards, scheduling, inventory, quoting, field and inspection forms, approval queues, dispatch. Usually the fastest project to pay for itself, because the manual version already has a cost. #### Integrations between systems that do not talk Two tools you already pay for, connected properly: QuickBooks, HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Airtable, Stripe, Twilio, and the industry systems specific to your trade. If you want the whole chain to run on its own rather than one link, that is AI workflow automation, and the two are often quoted together. #### Custom CRM and client portals A pipeline shaped like your sales process instead of a generic one, with the fields your team fills in and the stages your business really has. Client-facing portals where customers check status, upload documents, sign and pay, so your staff stops answering the same email twenty times a week. #### Private AI over your own documents Search and answers over your contracts, SOPs, manuals, quotes and past projects, running on your infrastructure, with citations back to the source document and no training on your data. This one is large enough to be its own service: see private AI and knowledge base (RAG). **We run our own software in production.** The number on this page is answered by an AI agent our team built, and RightForms is a live product we designed, shipped and operate. We are not describing work we have only read about, and we do not ask clients to be the first to try something. ### How we scope so the number does not move Custom projects go over budget because the scope was a conversation. We make it a document before anyone quotes a price. Step 1 · Free audit #### We watch the work happen We sit with the people who do the job, follow the process, and write down what actually happens, including the workarounds nobody mentions in meetings. You get a short write-up of what we found and what we would build first. It costs $0 and it is yours whether or not you hire us. Step 2 · Fixed scope #### The document is the price We turn the audit into a written scope: screens, data, integrations, who does what, and what is explicitly out. You approve it and that is the quote. Later additions are priced openly as change requests, so the number moves only when you decide it should. Step 3 · Build in slices #### Working software early We ship in two-week slices with a test environment from the first one, so you are clicking real screens weeks before launch. Your feedback goes into the next slice. Nobody disappears for three months and comes back with a surprise. ### What does custom software cost? Custom software at IG Digital Lab starts at $2,500, and most Sacramento small business projects land between $2,500 and $15,000. One internal tool or one integration is $2,500 to $6,000. Several systems connected, or private AI over your documents, is $6,000 to $15,000. Bespoke builds start at $15,000. Which band you land in depends on how many systems are involved, how much of your data has to be cleaned up on the way in, and how many people need their own view of it. The free audit is where that gets decided, and you see the number before you commit to anything. One Process $2,500 – $6,000 One tool or one integration, built end to end. - An internal tool replacing one spreadsheet - Or one integration between two systems - Typically 2 to 4 weeks from kickoff Most Common Connected Systems $6,000 – $15,000 Several systems made to work as one. - Multiple integrations and an internal tool on top - Private AI over your own documents - Deployed with CI/CD and monitoring Full Build from $15,000 Bespoke software, built from scratch. - Multi-system builds and complex retrieval - Full DevOps and a security review - Shipped in slices, with support after launch **Care**: $300–500/mo · monitoring, updates and small fixes after launch **Active support**: $750–1,500/mo · continuous development **Hourly**: $150–200/hr Full price list, including hosting and support, is on our pricing page. ### Who owns what when we are done You own all of it. IG Digital Lab writes your software inside your accounts, and the code, repository, servers, domains, data and documentation stay yours from the first commit. There is no license fee, no runtime we control, and no part of the system you have to keep paying us to use. This is the part businesses get burned on, so here it is line by line. What Owner How it works Source code You Yours from the first commit. No license, no obfuscation, no hidden dependency on a platform we own. Repository You We work inside your GitHub or GitLab organization, or hand over the full commit history at the end. Servers and hosting You Your cloud account and your billing. We can run and monitor them for you under servers and support, or hand you the keys. Domains and DNS You Registered in your business name, on your registrar account. We never hold a client domain hostage. Third-party accounts You Stripe, Twilio, model APIs, QuickBooks and the rest are your accounts, so you see every running cost directly. Data and database You Exportable in a standard format at any time, without asking us and without a fee. Documentation You Setup, deploy and architecture notes written for the next developer, not written to keep you dependent on us. The test we hold ourselves to: if you hired a different team tomorrow, could they take the project over without calling us? If the answer is no, the handoff is not finished. ### Inherited a half-finished project? It happens often: the developer went quiet, the agency closed, or the freelancer shipped 70 percent and stopped answering. IG Digital Lab takes those projects over. We start with the same free audit, read and run what exists, and tell you plainly whether finishing it is cheaper than rebuilding it. What we check before anyone touches the code: #### The state of it - Does it build and run from a clean checkout, or only on the machine that is gone? - How much of the promised scope actually exists and works? - Are there tests, and does the code look maintainable by someone new? #### What you can recover - Are the repository, servers, domains and API accounts in your name and reachable? - Is the data safe, backed up, and exportable right now? - What does finishing cost against what rebuilding costs, in real numbers? You get that answer in writing even if you decide to walk away from us. Sometimes the honest recommendation is to finish it with the original developer, and we will say so. If what you inherited is a website or a WordPress build rather than an application, the same process is covered by our website takeover service. ### Where we work in California Our office is in Sacramento, and we build custom software for businesses across California. Sacramento clients get in-person discovery; in the Bay Area we come on-site by arrangement, and Southern California runs remotely with visits on request. #### Custom software development in Sacramento #### Custom software development in San Francisco #### Custom software development in Oakland #### Custom software development in San Jose #### Custom software development in Los Angeles #### Custom software development in San Diego Related: mobile app development, websites and web apps, and AI automation for the processes the software runs on. ### Frequently asked questions Cost, ownership, timelines and the questions people ask before signing a software contract. #### How much does custom software cost for a small business? Most small business projects at IG Digital Lab land between $2,500 and $15,000. One internal tool or one integration is usually $2,500 to $6,000. Several systems connected together, or private AI over your documents, is $6,000 to $15,000. Bespoke builds start at $15,000. The free audit gives you the exact number before anything is signed. #### Should we build custom or buy off-the-shelf? Buy first. If a product on the market does 90 percent of the job and the missing 10 percent is not the part that makes you money, buy it and we will say so. Build when the process is your advantage, when per-seat pricing has outgrown the value, or when your team keeps a spreadsheet on the side because the tool does not fit. #### Who owns the source code? You do. The code, the repository, the database, the servers, the domains and the documentation are yours from the first commit. We work inside your GitHub or GitLab organization, or hand over the full history at the end. There is no license fee, no runtime we control, and nothing that stops another developer from picking it up. #### What if we need changes later? Changes are normal and we price them two ways. Occasional work is hourly at $150 to $200. If you want us on call, support runs $300 to $500 a month for monitoring, updates and small fixes, or $750 to $1,500 a month when there is continuous development. You can also hand the code to any other team, since you own it. #### Can you integrate with QuickBooks, HubSpot or our CRM? Yes, and most of our projects are integration work: QuickBooks, HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Airtable, Stripe, Twilio and the industry systems specific to your trade. If a system has an API we use it. If it does not, we work with scheduled exports, email or file drops, and we tell you upfront which one you are getting. #### How long does a custom software project take? One internal tool or one integration is usually 2 to 4 weeks from kickoff. A connected system with several integrations, or private AI over your documents, is typically 4 to 10 weeks. Full bespoke builds run longer, and we ship them in two-week slices so you see working software early instead of only at the end. ### Tell us what your team does by hand. Book a free 30-minute audit. We will look at the process, tell you honestly whether to buy or build, and give you a real number before you commit to anything. Prefer to talk now? Call or text (916) 618-0502. Or browse all seven services. --- ## https://igdigi.com/services/web-design-development Websites and web apps ## Websites and web apps that do a job, not just exist IG Digital Lab designs, builds and runs websites, client portals, web apps and online stores for small and mid-sized businesses. Fast on a phone, accessible, measured, and built on code you own. Our office is in Sacramento, California; the work ships nationwide. Call or text (916) 618-0502 Under 2.5s largest contentful paint on a phone, the performance budget we build to WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility target checked before launch, not after a complaint 100% yours code, repo, domain and hosting handed over in your name ### What does a business website actually need to do in 2026? A business website has one job: turn a stranger into a booked call, a filled form, or an order. At IG Digital Lab in Sacramento we build sites that load fast on a phone, say plainly what you do, and hand the lead straight to your CRM or calendar instead of an inbox nobody checks. Everything else is decoration. So on every build we check four things before we call it done: - **It is fast where your customers are.** Most local traffic is mobile, on average hardware, on an average connection. That is the device we test on, not a designer's laptop. - **Every page has one obvious next step.** Call, book, buy, or ask. A page with five equal options gets none of them clicked. - **Machines can read it.** Clean HTML, headings that match the questions people ask, and structured data, so both Google and AI assistants can quote you correctly. That is the same groundwork behind our SEO and AEO work. - **You can see what it produced.** Analytics and call or form tracking wired in at launch, so you know which pages pay for themselves. This is the same thesis we apply everywhere: put the useful part inside the process, not next to it. A site that collects a lead and then does nothing with it is a brochure with a hosting bill. ### What kinds of websites and web apps do we build? Four kinds: marketing sites that sell one service well, web apps and client portals with logins and business logic, e-commerce stores, and rebuilds of sites that already exist. IG Digital Lab builds all four on the same stack, so a Sacramento marketing site can grow into a portal later without starting over. #### Marketing sites The site most businesses need: services, proof, pricing, contact, and a page per thing you actually sell. Copy structured around the questions buyers ask, forms that route to your CRM, and a page you can update without calling us. Typically $2,500 to $6,000 #### Web apps and client portals Logins, roles, dashboards, document sharing, scheduling, billing status. When the thing you need is closer to software than to a website, it is built like software, with tests and a repo. See custom software for the heavier end of that work. Typically $6,000 to $15,000 #### E-commerce Shopify when the catalog is standard and speed to launch matters, a custom stack when inventory, pricing rules or fulfillment have to talk to systems you already run. Payments, tax, shipping and inventory sync included in scope. Typically $6,000 to $15,000 #### Rebuilds and rescues A site that is slow, unmaintained, or held hostage by an agency that stopped answering. We audit it, take ownership of the domain and hosting, then fix or rebuild. Details on the website takeover page. Scoped after the free audit ### What makes this different from a template site? Three things: we work to a written performance and accessibility budget instead of hoping for the best, we do not lock you into a page builder or a proprietary CMS, and you own the code, the repo, the domain and the hosting. If you ever leave IG Digital Lab, the site keeps working. #### Performance and accessibility budgets Page weight and load targets are set before design, not measured after launch. We test on mid-range Android hardware and throttled connections, and we check contrast, keyboard navigation and screen-reader labels as part of the build. Slow, unusable pages cost you customers quietly. #### No page-builder lock-in No stack of paid plugins, no visual builder that turns one paragraph into a hundred nested divs, no CMS you can only edit while you keep paying a license. Editing stays simple for your team, and the underlying code stays plain enough for any developer to pick up. #### You own everything we build Repository, source, domain, DNS, hosting account, analytics property, and a written handover doc. We host and monitor it for you if you want that, through servers and support, but ownership is never the leverage that keeps you here. **We run what we sell:** this site runs on the same infrastructure we hand to clients the number above is answered by an AI agent our team built our own products, FirstReply and RightForms, are live on this stack ### What does a website or web app cost? Most business websites and moderate web apps land in One Process, $2,500 to $6,000. Larger portals, e-commerce and multi-integration web apps sit in Connected Systems, $6,000 to $15,000. Care after launch runs $300 to $500 a month. IG Digital Lab quotes the exact number in writing after a free audit. One Process $2,500 – $6,000 A website or web app, built and shipped. - Marketing site, service pages, and a contact or booking flow - Design, build, content setup, launch and handover - Analytics, call and form tracking wired in - Schema markup and an llms.txt so machines can quote you Portals & stores Connected Systems $6,000 – $15,000 When the site has to talk to your other systems. - Client portals with logins, roles and documents - E-commerce with payments, shipping and inventory sync - Web apps with custom business logic - Integrations with CRM, calendar, billing or ERP Care $300 – $500/mo Keeping it alive after launch. - Hosting, backups, uptime and security monitoring - Small content and design changes as they come up - Updates, patches and incident response - Optional, and never a condition of owning your site See full pricing These are corridors, not a menu. Scope moves the number, so we scope first: the free audit ends with a written quote you can compare. Full corridors for every service are on the pricing page. ### How long does a website take to build? A focused marketing site at IG Digital Lab is usually live in 3 to 5 weeks, a larger site with custom sections in 6 to 10, and a web app or portal in 8 to 16. The clock starts when content and access are in hand, which is the step that slows most projects down. What we are building Typical timeline What drives it Focused site, 1 to 5 pages 3 to 5 weeks One service, one audience, one call to action. Fastest path to a page that converts. Full marketing site, 8 to 15 pages 6 to 10 weeks Service pages, location pages, insights section, and the content to fill them. Rebuild of an existing site 4 to 8 weeks Audit, redirect map, and migration of content that already exists and already ranks. E-commerce store 6 to 12 weeks Catalog size, payment and shipping rules, and whether inventory has to sync with another system. Web app or client portal 8 to 16 weeks Number of user roles, how much custom logic there is, and how many systems it integrates with. We work in visible stages: audit and scope, then structure and copy, then design, then build, then launch. You see something real at the end of each stage, so nothing is a surprise at the end. Rush timelines are possible when a launch date is fixed; we say so up front instead of quietly cutting testing. ### Already have a site someone else built? Yes, we take those over. IG Digital Lab audits what is there, gets the domain, hosting and repository into your name, fixes what is broken, then decides with you whether to rebuild or keep improving. Most takeovers start with a free audit and a written list of findings. The common cases: the developer stopped replying, the agency owns your domain, the site is on a platform nobody can edit, or plugins have not been updated in two years. None of that is unusual, and none of it is your fault. If you are in the Sacramento area we can go through it in person, see web design in Sacramento, and we work in English and Russian. How a takeover works See all services ### Where we work in California Our office is in Sacramento, and we build sites and web apps for businesses across California. Sacramento clients get in-person discovery; in the Bay Area we come on-site by arrangement, and Southern California runs remotely with visits on request. #### Web design in Sacramento #### Web design in San Francisco #### Web design in Oakland #### Web design in San Jose #### Web design in Los Angeles #### Web design in San Diego Need software behind the site, or an app? See custom software, mobile app development, and the rest of what we do on the services page. ### Frequently asked questions What people ask us before starting a website or web app project. #### How much does a small business website cost? Most small business websites at IG Digital Lab fall in the One Process band, $2,500 to $6,000, covering design, build, content setup and launch. Sites with e-commerce, logins or several integrations move into Connected Systems, $6,000 to $15,000. You get the exact number in writing after a free audit, not a guess on a call. #### Do I own the code and the domain? Yes. The repository, the code, the domain registration and the hosting account are all in your name. We hand over admin access and written documentation at launch. If you decide to work with another team later, nothing has to be rebuilt and no license has to be bought back from us. #### Can you take over a WordPress site from another developer? Yes. We take over WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow and custom builds. We start with an audit of the code, hosting, plugins and backups, move the domain and hosting into your name, then fix, maintain or rebuild depending on what the audit finds. Our website takeover page explains the handover step by step. #### Do you do e-commerce? Yes. We build storefronts on Shopify or on a custom stack, depending on catalog size, fulfillment and how much the store has to talk to your other systems. Most e-commerce projects sit in the Connected Systems band, $6,000 to $15,000, because payment, shipping and inventory integrations carry the work. #### Will my site be fast on mobile? That is a build requirement here, not a hope. We set a performance budget before design starts, test on mid-range Android hardware and throttled connections, and keep Core Web Vitals in the green at launch. We usually aim for under 2.5 seconds to largest contentful paint on a phone. #### Can you redesign without losing my Google rankings? Usually, yes. We keep URLs where we can, map redirects for the ones that change, carry over titles, headings and structured data, and compare crawl and traffic before and after launch. Rankings can move for reasons outside a migration, so we measure and fix rather than promise. We aim for no drop caused by the rebuild itself. ### Tell us what the site has to do. Book a 30-minute audit. We will look at what you have now, tell you what it would take, and send the scope and the number in writing. Prefer to talk now? Every build comes with its own API and the integrations it needs, a CRM, a calendar, payments, an AI assistant inside the app, plus the firmware and automation for any Android tablet or kiosk that runs it. Fixed scope, one number after a free audit, and the code is yours from the first commit. Call or text (916) 618-0502 From $2,500 exact number after the free audit, not after the build 2 to 10 weeks typical delivery for a PWA, a simple app or a connected build You own it code, backend, app store listing and documentation, from day one ### When is a PWA better than a native app? A PWA is better than a native app when people need to use it fast, on any phone, without a download. IG Digital Lab, a Sacramento software company, builds both and tells you honestly which one your project actually needs before quoting a price. A native, App Store-listed app buys you two things a PWA cannot fully replace: a listing where people browse for apps, and steady background access to hardware like the camera, GPS or push notifications. Everything else, a PWA does at a fraction of the build cost and with none of the store review process. The honest way to decide is to look at what the app has to do, not at whether "app" sounds more serious than "website." #### Build a PWA when - People open it from a text message or a QR code and never think about installing anything. - It needs to work on iPhone and Android from one build, with no store account for either side. - Updates need to ship the moment you push them, with nobody stuck on an old version. - It is a client portal, an internal tool, or a kiosk screen, not a consumer product people browse for in a store. #### Build cross-platform (native) when - The app needs to be found and installed from the App Store or Google Play. - It needs reliable background location, push notifications, or steady camera access. - Field staff need it to keep working with no signal at all, not just a cached page. - The device is a company-owned tablet or kiosk that should run nothing else. Most of what we build for small businesses is a PWA or a lightly wrapped cross-platform app, because the job is an internal tool or a client portal, not a product competing for App Store attention. If your case genuinely needs a store listing, we build it in Flutter or React Native so iOS and Android ship from one codebase, and we will say so plainly if a PWA is the cheaper, faster answer instead. ### What we build Four shapes of mobile project cover most of what a small or mid-sized business asks us for. #### Apps for people in the field Dispatch, jobs and routes for drivers, technicians and inspectors, built to work from a truck or a job site: today's schedule, a form to fill in, a photo to attach, and a status update that reaches the office the moment there is signal. Usually the fastest app to pay for itself, since the manual version is a phone call or a paper form that someone re-keys later. #### A client portal, as an app The same portal your clients already use on the web, packaged so it opens from an icon on their phone: check status, upload a document, message your team, pay an invoice, without another login or another platform to remember. #### A kiosk or tablet on the counter A single-purpose screen at the front desk or on the wall: check-in, ordering, a queue display, a way to collect a signature. We handle the app and the device underneath it, locked down to run only what you put on it. This one overlaps with devices and smart spaces, and the two are often quoted together. #### An AI assistant inside the app When the job calls for it, the app carries an assistant that answers questions from your documents, fills out a form by conversation, or routes a request to the right person, running on the same backend as the rest of your systems, not a separate chatbot bolted on the side. **We run our own software in production.** The number on this page is answered by an AI agent our team built, and RightForms is a live product we designed, shipped and operate. We are not describing work we have only read about, and we do not ask clients to be the first to try something. ### How we build it The same fixed-scope process we use for custom software, adapted for a phone in someone's hand instead of a screen at a desk. Step 1 · Free audit #### We watch how the work happens today Text messages, paper forms, a spreadsheet three people edit, whatever stands in for the app right now. You get a short write-up of what we would build first. It costs $0 and it is yours whether or not you hire us. Step 2 · Fixed scope #### The document is the price We write down the screens, the data, the backend and the integrations, and who does what. You approve it and that is the quote. Later additions are priced openly as change requests. Step 3 · Build in slices #### Working app early We ship in two-week slices with a build on your own phone from the first one. If it is going to the App Store or Google Play, submission runs under your developer account, not ours. ### What does a mobile app cost? Mobile apps at IG Digital Lab start at $2,500 for a PWA or a simple single-purpose app. An app with its own backend, API and integrations runs $6,000 to $15,000. A full product with multiple roles, offline support and ongoing development starts at $15,000. Which band you land in depends on how many systems the app has to talk to, whether it needs to work offline, and whether it is going through an App Store review at all. The free audit is where that gets decided, and you see the number before you commit to anything. PWA or Simple App $2,500 – $6,000 One app, one purpose, built end to end. - A progressive web app that installs from a link - Or a simple single-purpose mobile app - Typically 2 to 4 weeks from kickoff Most Common Connected App $6,000 – $15,000 An app wired to its own backend. - Your own API, plus CRM, calendar or payment integrations - An AI assistant inside the app where it earns its keep - Deployed with monitoring and app store submission Full Product from $15,000 A mobile product built to keep growing. - Multiple user roles and offline support - Full DevOps and a security review - Shipped in slices, with support after launch **Care**: $300–500/mo for monitoring, OS updates and small fixes after launch **Active support**: $750–1,500/mo for continuous development **Hourly**: $150–200/hr Full price list, including hosting and support, is on our pricing page. ### Where we work IG Digital Lab is based in Sacramento and builds mobile apps for businesses across California. Our office handles in-person discovery for Sacramento clients; everywhere else, the same process runs remotely with on-site visits by arrangement. #### Mobile app development in Sacramento #### Mobile app development in San Francisco #### Mobile app development in Oakland #### Mobile app development in San Jose #### Mobile app development in Los Angeles #### Mobile app development in San Diego Not sure which service fits? Mobile is one of seven things we do, alongside custom software, devices and smart spaces, and the rest on our services page. ### Frequently asked questions PWA vs. native, iOS, timelines, ownership and support, the questions people ask before commissioning an app. #### Should we build a native app or a PWA? Start with a PWA if the app does not need deep phone hardware access or a store listing to be found: it opens from a link, works offline, and updates the moment you push a change, with no app store review to wait on. Build a cross-platform app when it needs to be installed from the App Store or Google Play, needs steady background access to the camera, GPS or push notifications, or has to keep working for field staff with no signal at all. Most internal tools, client portals and kiosk apps we build run fine as a PWA at a fraction of the cost. #### Do you build iOS apps? Yes, through a cross-platform framework, Flutter or React Native, that compiles one codebase to iOS and Android. We do not maintain a separate native Swift codebase, and we do not have apps of our own published in the App Store today. For a client iOS app, we build it, test it on real devices, and submit it through your own Apple Developer account, so the listing and the ongoing App Store relationship stay yours. #### How long does a mobile app project take? A PWA or a simple single-purpose app is usually 2 to 4 weeks from kickoff. An app with its own backend, API and integrations runs 4 to 10 weeks. A full product with multiple user roles and offline support takes longer, and we ship it in two-week slices so you have a working build on your own phone early, not just at the end. #### Who owns the app and the code once it is built? You do. The code, the repository, the backend, the app store listing and the documentation are yours from the first commit. We build inside your GitHub organization and your Apple or Google developer accounts where those are required, and hand over the full history if any of it started in ours. There is no license fee and nothing that stops another developer from taking the project over. #### What happens after the app is live? Occasional changes are billed hourly at $150 to $200. If you want us on call, Care support runs $300 to $500 a month for monitoring, OS updates and small fixes, and Active support is $750 to $1,500 a month when there is continuous development. Either plan covers keeping the backend, the integrations and the app store listing current as Android and iOS change underneath you. ### Tell us what the app needs to do. Book a free 30-minute audit. We build and run a 24/7 AI receptionist that picks up every call, qualifies the caller in plain conversation, books appointments straight into your calendar, and follows up via text, on your own stack, managed for you. Hear Sophie live: (916) 618-0502 ~35% of calls to small businesses go unanswered (industry data) 78% of callers hire the first business to respond (industry data) 30-60 days typical payback period for AI receptionist deployment ### How it works Four steps from first ring to booked appointment: fully automated, fully managed. Answer #### Answer every call, 24/7 The AI picks up on the first ring: nights, weekends, holidays. No voicemail. No missed opportunity. The caller hears a natural, professional voice that represents your brand. Qualify #### Qualify the caller The AI asks the right questions (case type, timeline, location, urgency), exactly as you'd want a trained receptionist to. Unqualified callers are routed appropriately; hot leads are flagged and fast-tracked. Book #### Book the appointment Qualified callers are offered available slots from your live calendar and confirmed on the spot. Appointment details sync to your CRM and a confirmation text goes out automatically. Follow Up #### Follow up, automatically Reminder texts, post-call summaries to your team, and no-show re-engagement sequences fire without any manual work. Your staff focuses on clients, not phone admin. **Built on:** Telnyx (voice telephony) Custom LLM prompt layer (Claude / GPT) Deployed on your own infrastructure ### What you stop leaving on the table Industry data on what missed and slow-answered calls actually cost businesses. ~35% #### Calls going unanswered right now Industry research consistently shows roughly one in three calls to SMBs goes unanswered during business hours, and nearly all outside of them. Each missed call is a prospect evaluating your competitor next. Source: industry surveys on SMB call handling rates 78% #### Callers hire the first firm that responds Speed-to-answer is the single biggest predictor of conversion in high-intent verticals like law, medical, and home services. The AI doesn't hesitate. It answers on ring one. Source: speed-to-lead industry benchmarks 30-60 days #### Typical payback on AI receptionist When a single recovered appointment represents $500-$20,000 in revenue (depending on your vertical), the math on an AI receptionist running a few hundred dollars a month closes fast. Most clients see full payback within the first two months. Internal analysis across deployed implementations ### Who benefits most Any business where a missed call means a missed case, appointment, or contract. Primary focus #### Personal Injury Law Firms A missed PI call can be a $15-20k case lost. The AI qualifies accident type, timeline, and liability on the first ring, then books the consult. #### Immigration & Family Law High-volume, time-sensitive consultations. The AI runs intake in English and filters by case type before booking. #### Med-Aesthetic & Wellness Clinics After-hours booking is where revenue leaks. The AI handles treatment inquiries and appointment requests around the clock. #### Home Services & Contractors Calls spike when things break: nights, weekends. The AI captures every service request and schedules the estimate while competitors go to voicemail. #### Healthcare Practices Appointment booking, insurance intake, and refill request routing, handled automatically so your front desk focuses on the patients in the room. #### Any High-Ticket SMB If a single retained client is worth $1,000+, the economics of a 24/7 AI receptionist work. An AI voice agent is a phone-answering system that sounds natural, answers 24/7, collects caller details, qualifies the lead, books appointments into your calendar, and sends follow-up texts, all without human staff. We build and run the whole thing for you on Telnyx. #### How quickly can an AI receptionist be live? Typical deployment is 2-4 weeks from kickoff to live calls, depending on how complex your qualification questions and booking workflow are. We handle the build, testing, and integration. You review and approve the script and flow before anything goes live. #### What happens to calls the AI can't handle? We configure escalation paths: the AI can warm-transfer to a live agent, take a detailed message, or send an internal Slack/SMS alert so your team can call back promptly, your choice based on your workflow. #### Does the AI use my existing phone number? Yes. We can port your existing business number or provision a new one. Calls ring the AI first; humans can still take calls if they pick up before the AI answers. The AI is a safety net, not a replacement for your team when they're available. #### How much does an AI receptionist cost? We automate document generation and processing, multi-step approval workflows, data entry from emails and forms into CRM or trackers, invoice and payment reconciliation, task creation and routing, RFQ and proposal processing, and repetitive back-office operations. If your team does it the same way every time, it can likely be automated. #### Do I have to switch tools or platforms? No. We automate inside your existing stack: email, CRM, spreadsheets, QuickBooks, HubSpot, and more. You keep the tools your team already knows; we add the automation layer on top. #### How do you decide what to automate first? We start with an ROI audit of your workflows: mapping where the most manual time is spent and which automations deliver the highest time savings and error reduction. We prioritize the highest-impact processes first so you see results quickly. #### Is it reliable? What happens if something breaks? Every automation we build includes monitoring, full logging, and human-in-the-loop exception handling for edge cases. If something unexpected happens, your team is notified and can intervene, nothing falls through the cracks silently. #### How long until we see results? The first automation is typically live in 1-3 weeks from kickoff. We scope, build, test, and hand off fast, then tune as your process evolves. ### Stop paying your team to do what software can do. Managed IT support is a monthly agreement where an outside team runs the systems your business depends on: servers, cloud accounts, networks, websites and user accounts. IG Digital Lab provides it from Sacramento for business clients. It is not a consumer PC repair shop: we do not fix home laptops, phones or game consoles. In scope #### What we take responsibility for - Business servers: Linux VPS, dedicated machines, databases, Docker - Cloud accounts: AWS, DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Vultr, Azure, Cloudflare - Websites and web apps, including ones another team built - Office networks, firewalls, Wi-Fi and VPN access for staff - Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, mailboxes, DNS and email records - Staff computers and accounts on a plan: setup, updates, offboarding Not this #### What we are not - A walk-in counter for home laptops, phones or game consoles - A reseller: your hosting and cloud stay in your name and your billing - A ticket queue where the reply is "we have escalated it" - A vendor holding your credentials: the passwords and runbook are yours - A one-size contract: maintaining one website is a valid plan too Server, cloud and website work is delivered remotely nationwide. For on-site work our office is at 3550 Watt Ave, Suite 408, Sacramento, CA 95821, and we cover the surrounding area. Local details and pricing are on our Sacramento IT support page, and the hardware side, tablets, kiosks and smart spaces, is covered under devices and smart spaces. ### What is covered every month Six things that happen on a schedule, whether or not anything breaks. #### Servers and cloud Provisioning, hardening, SSH keys, firewall rules, user access, resource sizing and TLS certificates that renew before they expire, on Linux servers and the cloud accounts you already pay for. #### Monitoring and alerting Uptime checks on sites and APIs, plus disk, memory, CPU, certificate expiry and backup job success. Alerts go to us first, so most problems are handled before anyone on your team notices. #### Backups, restore-tested Nightly off-site backups of databases, files and server configuration, with a scheduled test restore to a scratch machine. A backup nobody has restored is not a backup, it is a hope. #### Patching and updates Operating system security updates, framework, CMS and dependency updates on a schedule, staged first where a staging environment exists, so a routine update never becomes a Monday morning outage. #### Website maintenance Content edits, plugin and theme updates, broken forms, page speed, uptime, DNS records and email deliverability (SPF, DKIM, DMARC). We maintain sites we built and sites we inherited. #### User support Mailboxes and accounts in Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, laptops and workstations, printers and shared drives, and a written onboarding and offboarding checklist for every new or departing employee. **We work with:** Ubuntu / Debian Linux Docker and Compose AWS / DigitalOcean / Hetzner / Vultr / Azure Cloudflare WordPress and custom apps Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 ### Response times, and what "supported" means in writing Support only means something if the response time is written down. Ours are targets we commit to in the service agreement, not a marketing promise. Business hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm Pacific. Outages are handled outside those hours too, and we say plainly what that does and does not cover. Situation What we commit to Site or server down, business stopped We start within one hour during business hours. Outside them, monitoring pages us and we start when the page arrives, day or night. We do not sell a contractual 24/7 SLA, and we do not pretend to. Broken, but you have a workaround Same business day, with a fix or a plan and a date by end of day. Normal request: a change, a new account, a content edit Answered within one business day and scheduled with you, usually done in the same week. Planned work: upgrades, migrations, releases Scheduled in advance, usually outside your working hours, with a rollback plan agreed before we start. In writing means one short service agreement that lists every server, site, domain and account we cover, what the monthly fee includes and what is billed hourly, who holds which credentials, where the runbook lives, and how to reach us. You get a monthly note: what we patched, what we restored, what we are watching. Call or text (916) 618-0502 at any hour. Our own line is answered by an AI agent our team built, so the request is logged and routed even at 2am, and a person calls you back. ### Plans and pricing Care is $300 to $500 per month and covers monitoring, patching, backups and small fixes. Active is $750 to $1,500 per month and adds ongoing development and DevOps work. One-off work is $150 to $200 per hour, and hosting and small services start at $50 per month. Everything we run is priced on our pricing page. ### Taking over from a previous provider Most of the businesses that call us already have a provider, or had one. Handovers are usually messy because nobody wrote anything down, not because anyone was incompetent. This is the checklist we work through, and you get the finished version of it as a document you own. - **Inventory.** Every domain, server, cloud account, database, repository, DNS zone, mailbox and third-party subscription, with where it lives, what it costs and who is paying for it. Half the value is usually here. - **Ownership.** Accounts moved into your company name and your billing. If a domain or hosting account is registered to the old provider, we start that transfer first, because it is the slowest step. - **Backups before anything else.** A full backup of every site, database and server config, stored where we can reach it, before we change a single line of configuration. - **Credentials.** New admin credentials in a password manager you control, old ones rotated, and a written list of who has access to what. - **Prove it works.** We deploy, restart and restore each system ourselves while the old provider is still reachable. Nothing is switched off until we have done it once. - **Runbook.** One document: what runs where, how to deploy it, how to restore it, what breaks it, who to call. You get a copy, and it stays yours if we part ways. - **Switch-off and review.** Old access revoked on a date you pick, monitoring and backups moved to our schedule, and a review with you at the end of the first month. If the problem is more urgent than a planned handover, for example the developer stopped answering, nobody has the login, or the site is down and no one knows where it is hosted, start with website takeover. If the repetitive work around those systems is the real cost, that is AI workflow automation. Either way, the first conversation is the free audit, and we do not need access to your systems to have it. ### Frequently asked questions Straight answers on cost, contracts, after-hours outages and switching providers. #### How much does IT support cost for a small business? At IG Digital Lab, the Care plan is $300 to $500 per month and covers monitoring, patching, backups and small fixes. Active support is $750 to $1,500 per month and adds ongoing development and DevOps work. One-off work is $150 to $200 per hour, and hosting starts at $50 per month. #### Do you support Macs and PCs? Yes, for business users on both macOS and Windows: accounts, email, security updates, shared drives, printers, onboarding and offboarding. Our core work is servers, cloud and websites, so device support is part of a plan for your staff, not a walk-in repair counter for personal computers. #### What happens if our server goes down at 2am? Monitoring alerts us, not you. On a plan, an outage pages our team day or night and we start work when the page arrives. We aim to have you back up, or on a workaround, before your business day starts, and you get a written summary of the cause. #### Can you take over from our current IT company? Yes, and it is normal work for us. We inventory every domain, server and account, move ownership and billing into your name, take a full backup, prove we can deploy and restore everything ourselves, then revoke the old access on a date you choose. Your users usually notice nothing. #### Do you manage AWS, DigitalOcean or our existing hosting? Yes. We work inside your accounts, under your billing, on AWS, DigitalOcean, Hetzner, Vultr, Azure, Cloudflare and most shared hosts. You keep ownership and you pay the provider directly. If the current setup costs more than it needs to, we show you the numbers and the options. #### Do you require a long contract? No. Plans run month to month and you can cancel with 30 days notice. We ask for a three month minimum only on takeovers, because the first month is inventory and cleanup. If you leave, you get the runbook, the credentials and the backups, with no exit fee. ### Find out what is actually running your business. Book a free 30-minute audit. IG Digital Lab sets up kiosks, digital signage, check-in screens, field-crew tablets and meeting-room displays. Call or text (916) 618-0502 1 app a dedicated device opens one thing, with home, recents and settings gone QR or zero-touch devices provision themselves instead of someone configuring each one by hand Remote app updates, policy changes, reboots and wipes pushed from the console ### How do you lock an Android tablet to a single app? IG Digital Lab locks Android tablets with device-owner provisioning: we factory reset the tablet, enroll it by QR code or zero-touch, then run your app in lock task mode so home, recents and settings are blocked. An MDM console pushes updates remotely. We stage devices at our Sacramento office and ship them ready. There are three levels of locking a device, and they are not the same thing. Knowing which one you have is the difference between a kiosk and a tablet with a browser on it. - **Screen pinning** is built into Android and any user can switch it on. Holding back and recents together switches it off again. Fine for handing a phone to a customer for a minute, not a kiosk. - **Device-owner mode** is set once, during setup, on a device with no accounts on it. From then on the management app decides which packages are allowed to run at all. This is the part that makes the lock actually hold. - **Lock task mode plus a restriction set** is the finished thing: your app full screen, no status bar, no navigation, and separate policies blocking safe boot, USB debugging, factory reset from settings, new accounts and anything installed from outside Managed Google Play. The order matters, and it catches people out. Device-owner mode cannot be added later to a tablet that already has a Google account signed in, so a device that arrived last month and got used for a week has to be wiped before it can be enrolled properly. We plan the staging around that instead of discovering it on install day. Step 1 #### Provision Factory reset, then enroll by QR code from the first setup screen, or by zero-touch if the devices were bought through a reseller that supports it. The device comes up already managed, with your app installed and the policy applied. Step 2 #### Lock Your app is pinned in lock task mode and the restriction set goes on: no recents, no sideloading, no safe boot, no new users, no factory reset from the device. One hidden exit stays, a gesture plus a PIN your managers hold. Step 3 #### Watch Every device checks in on a schedule. If a screen stops reporting, drops off the network or falls below a battery threshold, the alert reaches us before it reaches your staff. Same monitoring stack as servers and support. **What we work with:** Android Enterprise and the Android Management API, Managed Google Play, Samsung Knox on Samsung hardware, Zebra rugged devices for warehouse and field use, ChromeOS kiosk mode for signage, Windows assigned access. Every pattern on this page runs on our own hardware first: the tablets and phones in our office are enrolled, locked and monitored with the same tooling we hand to clients. ### What we set up Six shapes cover almost everything businesses ask for. The hardware differs, the discipline underneath is the same one. #### Self-service kiosks A tablet at the counter or on a stand running one app: ordering, sign-up, a survey, a queue ticket, a payment. Mounted, powered, locked, and reachable from the console when the app or the wording needs to change. #### Digital signage Screens showing a menu, a price list, a schedule or a live dashboard, that come back on their own after a power cut. Content changes from one place instead of a USB stick carried to every screen. #### Visitor check-in A screen at reception that signs the visitor in, notifies the person they came to see, and prints a badge. It can write straight into the systems you already run, which is where AI workflow automation takes over. #### Field-crew tablets Rugged or standard tablets for crews in vans and on sites: job list, photos, signatures, offline first, syncing when the signal comes back. Locked so the work device does not quietly become somebody's personal phone. #### Meeting-room displays Panels outside rooms showing what is booked and letting people grab the room on the spot, reading and writing the calendar you already use. Same enrollment, same monitoring, no separate system to learn. #### Smart-space automation Doors, lights, sensors and screens tied into one flow so the space reacts instead of waiting for someone to press something. The logic runs on hardware you own, on your network, so it survives a vendor cloud outage. ### Enrollment and management Enrollment is what turns a box of tablets into a fleet you can change from one screen. We use Android Enterprise, and which enrollment path we take depends mostly on how the devices were bought. Method When we use it What it needs Zero-touch New devices ordered through a reseller in Google's zero-touch program. Best for anything above a handful of units. Devices registered to your zero-touch account before they ship. Nothing to do on the device itself, it enrolls on first boot. QR code Any new or factory-reset device, including hardware you already own. Our default for small fleets. Someone taps the first setup screen six times, scans our QR, and the device provisions itself unattended. afw#setup Devices where the QR path is unavailable or the setup wizard differs by vendor. A Google account typed as afw#setup during setup, then the management app installs itself. Knox / vendor tooling Samsung and Zebra hardware where the vendor layer adds controls Android alone does not have. A vendor account and, on Samsung, a Knox license key applied at staging. Once devices are enrolled, the console is where the work happens: - Push a new app version to every device at once, or to one site, or to one device. - Change the locked app, the wallpaper, the Wi-Fi profile or the restriction set without touching the hardware. - Lock or wipe a device that walked out of the building. - Set maintenance windows so updates do not land in the middle of your busy hour. - See battery, storage, app version and last check-in per device, and get alerted when one goes quiet. - Bring a replacement device up from the same profile in minutes, instead of rebuilding it from memory. Three things we say before any hardware order goes in, because they decide more about the install than the software does: #### Batteries do not like living on a charger A consumer tablet plugged in around the clock swells eventually. Choose hardware with charge limiting or a power-only mode, or budget for battery replacement on a schedule. #### Enclosure, cable route and power Where the cable runs and how the device is mounted decide whether the kiosk looks installed or looks temporary. We spec the enclosure with the device, not after it. #### Never put a kiosk on guest Wi-Fi A captive portal that expires overnight will take your screens down every time. Kiosks get their own network segment, or a SIM, and a static configuration pushed from the console. #### Buy one spare Screens get dropped and ports wear out. One staged spare on a shelf turns a broken kiosk into a ten-minute swap instead of a two-week wait for a replacement. If the app on the screen does not exist yet, that part is custom software. If the devices are part of a wider network, servers and workstations you want someone watching, see servers and support, or IT support in Sacramento for on-site work. Devices are one of our seven services, and they usually arrive attached to one of the others. ### What it costs per device There is no per-device price. A small fleet at one site running one app is a One Process implementation from IG Digital Lab in Sacramento: $2,500 to $6,000. Multi-site or integrated fleets run $6,000 to $15,000. Ongoing management is $300 to $1,500 a month, one-off work $150 to $200 an hour. The audit is free. One Process $2,500 – $6,000 One location, one app, a small fleet. - Hardware and enclosure spec, then staging - Enrollment, kiosk lock and restriction set - On-site install and staff handover Most Common Connected Systems $6,000 – $15,000 Several sites, or devices wired into your systems. - Multi-site fleets and mixed device types - Check-in or signage wired into your CRM and calendar - Smart-space automation across a floor or a building - Monitoring and alerting per device from day one Full Build from $15,000 When the app on the screen has to be built too. - A device app written for your process - Backend, sync and offline handling - Phased rollout across sites See full pricing **Why not a price per device?** Because nearly all of the work sits in the first one. Once the profile, the app and the restriction set exist, the tenth tablet costs a fraction of the first. A per-device number would either overcharge you on the fleet or undercharge the setup, so we quote the project instead. **Hardware is not in these numbers.** You buy the tablets, mounts and screens directly, or we order them and pass the invoice through at cost. MDM licensing is billed per device by the vendor, usually annually, and we tell you that figure before you commit rather than folding it into ours. After the install, management is a flat monthly plan: Care at $300 to $500 per month for monitoring, updates and small changes, Active at $750 to $1,500 per month when devices and sites keep being added. Occasional one-off work, like re-provisioning a replaced tablet, is $150 to $200 per hour. Full detail on the pricing page. ### Frequently asked questions Locking, ownership, replacements, platforms and timelines. #### Can staff exit kiosk mode? Not by accident, and not with the usual tricks. Lock task mode removes home and recents, and the policy set blocks safe boot, USB debugging, factory reset from settings and new user accounts. We leave one deliberate way out, normally a hidden gesture plus a PIN that only your managers hold. A device that is truly stuck can be wiped and re-enrolled from the console. #### Can you manage devices we already own? Usually yes, with one condition. Device-owner mode can only be set on a device that has no accounts on it, so a tablet already signed into a Google account has to be factory reset before it can be enrolled. We back up anything on it first. Devices too old to still receive security patches we will tell you to replace rather than enroll. #### What happens if a device breaks, is lost or is stolen? We lock or wipe it from the console, then provision a replacement from the same profile. Because the configuration lives in the console and not in one person's head, a spare that arrives in the morning can be on the wall the same day, with the same app, the same restrictions and the same monitoring. #### Do you work with iPads and Windows screens, or only Android? Android is where we go deepest, and it is usually the cheapest per screen. We also set up iPads through Apple Business Manager with a single-app profile, and Windows displays with assigned access. If you already run a mixed fleet, we will tell you which parts are worth consolidating on one platform and which are fine as they are. #### How long does a device rollout take? A small fleet at one location is typically two to three weeks from the free audit: a few days to choose hardware and build the profile, one staging session where every device is enrolled and tested, then the install. Multi-site rollouts run longer because of shipping and site access, not because of the software. ### Tell us what the screen needs to do. Two jobs, one engagement. We fix the technical, local and content groundwork that decides where you rank on Google, then structure your site, your schema and your listings so ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews can quote you when a buyer asks them who to hire. See all services ~12% overlap between AI-cited URLs and Google top-10 results (industry data) 3× brand mentions correlate stronger with AI citations than backlinks (industry data) AI-first a growing share of informational searches now start in ChatGPT or Perplexity, not Google ### What is the difference between SEO and AEO? SEO gets your pages ranked in Google's results and map pack. AEO, answer engine optimization, gets your business named inside an AI answer from ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews. IG Digital Lab does both, because they now run on overlapping signals: clean structure, correct schema, consistent listings, and content that answers the question directly. The split matters when you plan a budget, much less when the work actually happens. One page, written as a direct answer to a question a buyer really asks, marked up correctly and served fast, does duty on both surfaces. Where the two genuinely diverge is measurement: rankings, impressions and clicks on one side, and whether an assistant names you at all on the other. SEO #### Get found on Google - Technical health: speed, crawlability, indexing, Core Web Vitals - Google Business Profile and the local map pack - Keyword and intent research, then pages that match it - Site structure, internal linking, sitemap and canonical hygiene - Citations and NAP consistency across the directories - Measured in Search Console: impressions, positions, clicks AEO #### Get named inside AI answers - Entity clarity: models know who you are and what you do - Structured data and schema an AI can parse without guessing - llms.txt: a direct briefing for AI crawlers - Answer-first content shaped the way people ask assistants - Brand mentions in the sources those models actually trust - Measured by asking ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI monthly If your buyers are local, the map pack and the profile usually move first, and we cover that on the Sacramento SEO page. If you want the mechanics of the AI half in more depth, we wrote them up in how to get recommended by ChatGPT and Perplexity. ### What does an SEO and AEO engagement include? Eight workstreams: technical SEO, Google Business Profile, keyword and intent research, answer-first content, citations and NAP cleanup, schema and entity markup, IndexNow and Bing submission, and monthly AI-answer tracking. IG Digital Lab scopes them after a free audit, so you pay for the ones your site actually needs. Nothing here is a package you buy sight unseen. The audit tells us which of the eight are already fine, which are broken, and which have never been done at all, and the quote follows from that. The full ladder of what work costs is on the pricing page. Technical #### Technical SEO Speed, mobile rendering, crawlability, index coverage, canonical tags, sitemaps and internal linking. We also keep the text that matters in server-rendered HTML, because a crawler that has to execute JavaScript first often does not bother. Profile #### Google Business Profile Primary and secondary categories, services, service area, hours, photos, posts, questions and replies to reviews. For anyone with a storefront or a service radius, this is usually where the first measurable movement shows up. Research #### Keyword and intent research We map the phrases your buyers actually use, separate the ones that end in a purchase from the ones that end in reading, and decide which page is going to own each of them. That map drives everything after it. Content #### Answer-first pages Pages shaped around real buyer questions, with the short answer stated before the supporting detail. That order helps a person skimming on a phone, and it gives an assistant something quotable instead of a block it has to summarize. Citations #### Citations and NAP consistency Search engines and assistants both cross-check what you publish against what directories say about you. We settle on one exact spelling of your name, address and phone, push it to the aggregators and major listing sites, and clean up stale records carrying an old number. Schema #### Schema and entity graph JSON-LD for Organization, LocalBusiness, Service, FAQPage and Person, wired together with stable identifiers so the pieces resolve to one business rather than six unrelated fragments. This is what lets a model use your name with confidence. Indexing #### IndexNow, Bing and llms.txt New and changed pages are pushed to Bing and the other IndexNow participants at publish time instead of waiting on a crawl, and an llms.txt file gives AI crawlers a direct briefing on what your site is and which pages to read. Tracking #### AI-answer tracking We keep a standing set of the questions your buyers would put to an assistant, run them on the same cadence every month, and archive the replies. Without that record, "are we showing up in AI yet" has no honest answer. ### What do you actually receive? Four things: a written baseline audit, the technical and schema work implemented on your site rather than handed over as a to-do list, the pages and profile built, and one short monthly report covering Search Console, Google Business Profile and what the AI assistants answer. Everything we produce stays yours. #### Baseline audit report Where you stand today, in writing: a crawl of the site, index coverage and Core Web Vitals, current queries and positions from Search Console, the state of your Google Business Profile and listings, and a transcript of what the major AI assistants say about your business right now. Everything afterwards is measured against it. #### Technical fixes and markup, shipped Not a list of recommendations for someone else to implement. We ship the fixes: speed and crawl issues, canonical and sitemap hygiene, JSON-LD schema wired to a single entity, an llms.txt file, and IndexNow submission so changes reach Bing the day they go live. #### Pages and profile, built The pages your keyword map called for, written answer-first and published on your site, plus a Google Business Profile filled out properly and a citation sweep that puts one consistent name, address and phone across the directories that feed both search engines and assistants. #### One monthly report you will actually read Three surfaces on one page: Search Console (impressions, positions, clicks, indexed pages), Google Business Profile (views, calls, direction requests), and the AI-citation check with the assistants' own words pasted in. What moved, what did not, and the next action. No dashboard login you never open. ### Why we add AEO on top of SEO, not in place of it Industry data on the shift from traditional search to AI-generated answers, and why the two disciplines no longer substitute for each other. ~12% #### Overlap between AI citations and Google top-10 Industry research shows roughly 88% of the URLs cited in AI-generated answers are NOT in the top 10 Google results for the same query. Ranking on Google and ranking in AI answers require different strategies. Source: AEO/GEO industry research, 2024-2025 3× #### Brand mentions vs. backlinks in AI citation models Industry analysis of AI citation patterns shows that brand mentions in sources AI models trust correlate approximately 3× more strongly with being cited than traditional backlink counts, a fundamental shift from how SEO worked. Source: generative engine optimization research, 2024-2025 Growing fast #### AI search share is rising every quarter ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews now handle a material and growing share of informational and local-intent queries. Businesses that establish AI visibility now will compound the advantage as the shift accelerates. Source: AI search usage trend data, 2024-2025 ### Who benefits most from SEO and AEO? Any business where buyers research and compare before they call, and where a search result or an AI answer is the first thing they see. Primary focus #### Personal Injury Law Firms "Best personal injury lawyer near me" is increasingly answered by AI. We get PI firms named in those answers before a search result is ever clicked. #### Immigration & Family Law Clients in urgent legal situations increasingly turn to ChatGPT for trusted referrals. Entity clarity and Q&A content directly drive citation. #### Med-Aesthetic & Wellness Treatment comparisons, clinic recommendations, and "who's best for Botox in [city]" queries. AI answers those now. Be named in them. #### Home Services & Contractors Emergency and seasonal service queries are high-intent. AI-cited businesses get calls before the searcher even checks a review site. #### Healthcare Practices Patients use AI to research providers and symptoms. Structured entity presence and authoritative Q&A content are the levers. #### Professional Services (B2B) Consultants, accountants, and agencies are increasingly researched via AI prompts. AEO is early-mover territory: establishing presence now compounds. ### How long until results? Technical fixes and Google Business Profile work land within weeks. Competitive organic rankings normally need 3 to 6 months of steady publishing and cleanup. AI answers are the least predictable of the three, because they depend on content, citations and your review base, so IG Digital Lab reports what the assistants actually say each month rather than promising a date. Weeks #### Technical and profile work Speed, crawl and indexing fixes, schema, llms.txt and IndexNow submission are engineering tasks with a finish line. A Google Business Profile that has never been filled out properly often moves within the first reporting cycle, which is why we do it early. Fastest, and the most under our control 3 to 6 months #### Organic rankings Positions on competitive commercial terms move slowly, because everyone above you is also working. We look for movement in Search Console impressions and average position inside the first month as the leading signal, but no honest agency guarantees a ranking or a date. Typical for a site with no existing authority Step changes #### Being named by AI AI answers rarely improve on a smooth curve. Assistants ignore you, then name you, then describe you accurately. Getting there depends on structure and listings, which we fix, and on reviews, which only your customers can give you. We report the transcripts either way. Honest constraint, stated before you sign ### Pricing starts at $2,500, scoped after a free audit An SEO and AEO launch is a One Process implementation: $2,500-6,000. Ongoing work (content, listings, citation tracking) runs $300-500/mo (Care) or $750-1,500/mo (Active), depending on how much happens each month. Every engagement starts with a free audit: we show you exactly where you stand before you commit to anything, and search work sits next to the rest of what we build. See pricing tiers ### Frequently asked questions What business owners ask us before starting SEO and AEO work. #### What is the difference between SEO and AEO? SEO gets your pages ranked in Google's results and map pack. AEO, answer engine optimization, gets your business named inside an AI answer from ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google AI Overviews. IG Digital Lab does both, because they now run on overlapping signals: clean structure, correct schema, consistent listings, and content that answers the question directly. #### Do I still need classic SEO in 2026? Yes. Most buying searches still end on Google, and AI assistants lean on the same open web, the same Google Business Profile data and the same listings that classic SEO cleans up. Skipping SEO to chase AI answers removes the foundation those answers are built on, which is why we sell the two as one engagement. #### Do you do local SEO and Google Business Profile work? Yes. For a local business the Google Business Profile is usually the fastest single lever: categories, services, hours, service area, photos, posts, questions and review replies. We pair it with citation and NAP cleanup so your name, address and phone match everywhere a crawler or an assistant looks. #### How long before I see results? Technical fixes, schema and profile work land in the first few weeks. Competitive organic rankings usually take 3 to 6 months of steady work. AI answers move in steps rather than on a curve, and they depend on content, citations and your review base, so we report what the assistants actually say every month instead of promising a date. #### Why doesn't ranking on Google automatically get me into AI answers? Industry research shows only about 12% of URLs cited by AI systems overlap with Google's top-10 results for the same query. AI engines weight factors like entity recognition, structured data, llms.txt discoverability, and brand mentions in trusted sources, not just backlinks and page rank. #### What is llms.txt and why does it matter? llms.txt is an emerging convention (similar to robots.txt) that tells AI crawlers what your site is about, what pages to read, and how to describe your business. Implementing it correctly increases the chance AI models pick up your entity and use it in responses. We implement it as part of every SEO and AEO engagement. #### How is this different from what my current SEO agency does? Most SEO agencies optimize for Google's link graph and keyword index, and stop there. We do that work and then optimize for how AI models read, represent and cite an entity: structured data, natural language questions and answers, llms.txt, listing consistency, and brand presence in the sources those models trust. One engagement, not two vendors. ### Find out where you stand on Google and inside AI answers. Book a 30-minute audit. The audit that produces your exact number is free. Call or text (916) 618-0502 ### The short answer Most IG Digital Lab projects land between $2,500 and $15,000, priced by scope of work rather than by seats or pages. One process costs $2,500 to $6,000. Several systems connected together cost $6,000 to $15,000. Custom software built from scratch starts at $15,000. Support after launch runs $300 to $1,500 a month. Service Typical range What that buys Custom software $2,500–6,000 $6,000–15,000 from $15,000 A single internal tool or integration at the low end. Several systems joined into one in the middle, including private AI over your own documents. A product built from scratch at the top. Websites and web apps $2,500–6,000 $6,000–15,000 A typical business site: design, build, content structure, analytics, launch. The upper band is for portals, e-commerce and web apps with logins, payments or a custom back end. AI for calls and chat $2,500–6,000 A voice agent or website chat assistant deployed and integrated: your scripts, your data, your calendar and CRM, tested against real calls before it goes live. AI workflow automation $2,500–6,000 $6,000–15,000 One process end to end: phone, forms, CRM, calendar, documents on one path. The upper band adds several systems, exception handling and monitoring. Servers and support Care $300–500/mo Active $750–1,500/mo hosting from $50/mo hourly $150–200 Hosting, monitoring, backups, updates and incident response on Care. Active adds continuous development and DevOps. One-off work is hourly. Devices and smart spaces $2,500–6,000 $6,000–15,000 A small fleet of kiosks, locked-down tablets, signage or check-in screens, configured and enrolled. Larger rollouts sit in the upper band. Ongoing management runs under Care or Active. SEO and AEO launch $2,500–6,000 then $300–500/mo or $750–1,500/mo Technical fixes, content structure and entity work so you show up in Google and in AI answers. Monthly work keeps it moving; results are typical, not guaranteed. Separate product: FirstReply, our own flat-rate AI receptionist, is $500 setup plus $549/mo and is not part of the implementation pricing above. Full descriptions of each service are on the services overview. ### What changes the number Two jobs that sound identical on a phone call can be four times apart in price. These are the things that actually move it, in plain language: - **How many systems have to talk to each other.** One is quick. Five, each with its own login and its own idea of what a customer record is, is a project. - **Whether the tools you already own can do it.** If your CRM has a usable API, we connect it. If the missing piece does not exist, we build it, and that is a different band. - **How messy the data is.** A clean export is fast. Scanned PDFs, an inbox and a spreadsheet somebody maintains by hand are not. - **How many exceptions your team handles manually.** The happy path is the cheap part. Every "except when the customer is out of state" adds work. - **Access and compliance rules.** Private hosting, signed agreements and restricted data handling all add real hours. - **What already exists.** Reusable work lowers the price. A half-finished build nobody can log into raises it, and usually starts with a takeover first. - **How fast you need it.** A normal schedule is priced normally. Compressing it costs more, and we say so before you agree. ### The three implementation bands Every build we do is priced into one of three bands. The band is decided by scope of work, not by which features you pick from a list. One Process $2,500 – $6,000 One workflow, running end to end. - Phone, forms, CRM and calendar connected - Or a voice agent deployed and integrated - Or a website or web app, built and shipped - Or an SEO and AEO launch engagement Most Common Connected Systems $6,000 – $15,000 Several systems made to work as one. - Private RAG over your own documents - Multiple integrations and internal tools - A fleet of kiosks or managed devices - Secure deploy, CI/CD and monitoring Full Build from $15,000 Custom software, built from scratch. - Bespoke software and complex RAG - Multi-system builds over a longer schedule - Full DevOps and security review - Dedicated ongoing support **Care**: $300–500/mo · monitoring, fixes, updates after launch **Active**: $750–1,500/mo · ongoing work and new workflows **Hourly**: $150–200/hr Not sure which band you are in? That is what the free audit is for. ### What does ongoing support cost per month? Support from IG Digital Lab is $300 to $500 a month on Care and $750 to $1,500 a month on Active. Care covers hosting, monitoring, backups, updates and incident response for what we built. Active adds continuous development: new workflows, changes and DevOps. Hosting on its own starts at $50 a month. #### Care: $300 to $500 a month For a system that is finished and needs to stay up. Uptime and error monitoring, backups, security and dependency updates, small fixes and content changes, and a named person to call when something breaks. This is where most Sacramento clients sit after launch, and it is the plan behind our local IT support work. #### Active: $750 to $1,500 a month For a system that is still growing. Everything in Care, plus a standing block of development each month: new automations, new integrations, changes as your process changes, and infrastructure work such as CI/CD, scaling and security review. ### When do you bill hourly? Hourly work is $150 to $200 an hour at IG Digital Lab, and it is for jobs that do not need a project around them: reviewing code somebody else wrote, a one-off fix, sitting in on a vendor call, training your team on a tool, or an afternoon of scoping. Anything larger belongs in a band. ### What's free? Three things cost nothing: the audit, the scoping call and the written estimate. In the audit we look at how the work moves through your business now and where people are doing what software should do. Then we tell you which band it lands in, in writing. There is no charge and no obligation attached to any of it. If the honest answer is that you do not need a build, or that a $50 tool solves it, we say that. Free audits are useful to us because a scoped project is worth more than a guessed one. That is the whole trade. ### No "contact us for pricing" Most agencies hide the number until they have you on a call. We think that mostly wastes your time and ours. The numbers on this page are the same ones we say out loud, and they come from the same place every time: how much work the job is. What we will not do is pretend a range is a quote. The band tells you whether we are in your budget at all, which is the question you actually have right now. The exact figure comes after the free audit, in writing, with what is in it and what is not. If you are comparing us with someone else, useful places to look next: what we do, web design in Sacramento, IT support in Sacramento, or taking over a site somebody else built. And before you hand money to anyone, including us, read how to verify us - public records, independent profiles and systems you can test yourself. ### Frequently asked questions The questions people ask before they book the audit. #### Why don't you publish a fixed price per page? Because a page is not the unit of work. Two five-page sites can differ by four times, depending on integrations, logins, payments and how the content is produced. IG Digital Lab prices by scope: what has to be built, connected and maintained. A typical business site lands at $2,500 to $6,000. #### Do you require a retainer? No. Support plans start after launch and are optional: Care is $300 to $500 a month, Active is $750 to $1,500. Nothing on the project side obligates you to a monthly plan. Many clients run the build themselves for a while, then add a plan when they want us watching it. #### What's the smallest project you take? About $2,500: one process automated end to end, one small internal tool, or a straightforward site. Below that, hourly work at $150 to $200 usually makes more sense for both sides, and hosting or a small managed service on its own starts at $50 a month. #### Do you do payment plans? We use milestone-based invoicing. The project is split into stages, usually scope, build and launch, and each stage is invoiced when it is delivered, so you are never paying far ahead of the work. Support plans are billed monthly. We accept invoice, ACH and card. #### What's not included? Our price covers our work, not third-party costs. Domains, phone numbers and call minutes, paid ad budgets, licensed software, premium plugins and per-seat fees for tools you keep are yours directly. Every one of them is listed in the written estimate before you agree to anything. ### Get the exact number, not the range. Book a free 30-minute audit. We look at the process, tell you which band it lands in, and send the estimate in writing. No commitment. If you do not need a build, we will tell you that. --- ## https://igdigi.com/trust Trust and verification ## Check us before you hire us Most agency websites ask you to take their word for it. This page is built the other way around. Everything below is either a public record you can look up yourself, a profile on a site we do not control, or a system you can test in under a minute from your own phone. ### Three checks that take five minutes You do not have to believe any of this. You can verify it. #### 1. Call us and listen Dial (916) 618-0502 at any hour, including 2am on a Sunday. An AI receptionist answers, asks what you need and books time. This is not a sandbox demo — it is our main business line, and every call we might lose runs through it. **Why it matters.** We sell this exact system. If it fails, it fails on our revenue first, not on yours. #### 2. Look up the company Search the California Secretary of State business register for entity **B20250033459**. You will find **IGGO, LLC**, registered 18 March 2025, which trades as IG Digital Lab. Our federal EIN is on file and we hand it over on request for procurement or vendor onboarding. California business search #### 3. Read the machine version Open igdigi.com/llms.txt or view the source of this page. The same facts you are reading are published as structured data, tied to one organization identifier used across the whole site. **Why it matters.** It is also how we get our clients quoted by ChatGPT and Perplexity instead of buried on page two. ### Where else we exist Profiles on platforms we do not control. Same legal name, same address, same phone in every one — cross-check them. #### Business listings - Google Business Profile — verified listing, Sacramento - LinkedIn company page - GitHub — where the work actually lives - Instagram and Facebook #### Vetted B2B directories - Clutch — company profile - GoodFirms — company profile - Agency Spotter — company profile These directories verify a company before they publish it. They do not yet carry client reviews for us, because we have not asked a client to write one under a name they would have to make public. When that changes, the reviews will be there, on their site, not paraphrased on ours. ### What we run in production on ourselves We cannot show you client names. We can show you the systems we bet our own business on — and you can poke at all of them. #### An AI receptionist on our own main line Live since June 2026 on (916) 618-0502. It answers every call around the clock, works out what the caller needs, writes a structured summary and a full transcript into our systems, and follows up when a call drops. No voicemail, no after-hours gap. **Verify it:** call the number. #### The platform underneath it Multi-tenant, built by us: provisioning of assistants and phone numbers, per-client call journal, and cost-versus-revenue reporting pulled from the carrier's billing API rather than estimated from a spreadsheet. **Why it matters to you:** when we quote a per-minute price, we already know our own margin to the cent. That is why the number does not move after you sign. #### This website No CMS, no page builder, no theme. Hand-written HTML served by our own application, deployed from a pinned commit onto infrastructure we administer, behind roughly 450 automated checks that run before anything ships. Sitemap timestamps come from git history, so the dates are the truth rather than the build clock. **Verify it:** view source on any page. #### Built to be read by AI, not just by Google The site publishes a machine-readable representation for AI crawlers and carries structured data on every page, all pointing at a single organization identifier. This is the same AEO work we sell to clients who want to be the answer ChatGPT gives, not the fourteenth blue link. **Verify it:** open /llms.txt. ### What we deliberately do not claim The part most agency sites leave out. Read it before you read anyone's testimonials. #### No client logos Our engagements are confidential and we are not breaking that for a marketing wall. You will not find a grid of logos here, and you should be suspicious of grids you cannot click. When a client agrees to be named, they will appear with a link and a quote they actually said. #### No badges we have not earned As of 29 August 2026 we hold no vendor partner status and no platform certification. Several applications are under review. Nothing will appear in this section until it is granted and you can click through to the issuer's own record of it. A badge you cannot verify is decoration. #### No manufactured history IGGO, LLC was registered in March 2025 and the IG Digital Lab brand launched in June 2026. We are a young firm and we say so. What we bring is not a decade of invoices — it is systems already running in production, which you can test before paying us anything. #### Who is accountable One name: **Igor Golubev**, founder and AI Systems Architect. He designs, builds and operates what we ship — there is no account manager between you and the person writing the code. Meet the founder or find him on LinkedIn. The phone number on this page is the same one that answers at 2am. That is the whole promise. --- **Contact:** hello@igdigi.com · +1 (916) 618-0502 · 3550 Watt Ave, Suite 408, Sacramento, CA 95821 · Book a free automation audit: https://cal.com/igdigitallab/30min
